The Théâtre du Champ Exquis, commissioned by Caen la mer, is a cultural facility dedicated to children and youth, designed as a space for creation, performance, and artistic mediation.

The project is led by Stéphane Fernandez, in collaboration with DHD Architectes Studio Jouan Acousticians and Architecture et Technique for Theatre Design.

Studio Jouan is responsible for the acoustic design of the entire project. The approach ensures clear speech intelligibility, consistent sound quality, and acoustic comfort tailored to the requirements of live performance and young audiences.

The building covers approximately 1,400 m² and includes a 200 seat modular performance hall, providing flexible configurations and a close connection between stage and audience.
